hello twenty-twelve!

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Hope the holiday break has been blissfully relaxing as it's been for me (perhaps a little too much).
So many bits of have followed me home over the year but to be honest I have been too lazy to photograph - That, I will work better on this year..
First up the bedroom. I'm still in love the chevron print, the bed linen is from Aura. My lovely self sacrificing friend found this mid century bedside at an op shop and messaged me a pic ( yes, I have spotters all over Melbourne) only $40! Amazing how many magazines it can hold and yet never enough..
Enjoy the weekend, this is my last one before heading back to work on Monday.

bedroom love...

Arabella Ramsey's bedroom featured InStyle Magazine is going in my ideas bank. I have a ridiculously high stack of magazines on my bedside table and am at serious risk being buried in them. Hmm, wish I could see more of that patchwork quilt.

the weekend: inspired

So we're all moved in! Big thanks to JD's folks and sister, it all went pretty smoothly. I'm feeling inspired and can't wait to get my decorating mitts on, but will have to hold out until we get back from our holidays. On Sunday, I successfully bidded on a teak dining setting on ebay. Any sane person would be sick of moving any more furniture, but no, not I. Only 1 day in; I clearly have no will power. BTW there's another stunning blue art deco velvet sofa in Adelaide, some one please do me a favour and buy it!!
Why is it I have only recently discovered this awesome website? Ikea: Live is full inspiring images of real homes from around the world. Oh soo little time.
