My future child would completely rock this backpack to school. Not so practical for squished & forgotten bananas but cute all the same.

lazy like sunday morning
via modern hepburn
I got through 2 of the things from my list yesterday. The upside is I nabbed lots of bargains and have quite a few wardrobe staples to add to the rotation.
The engagement turned into a big night out so most of today was spent in bed and then on the couch. Whilst in pure procrastination mode I joined Pinterest. Seriously addictive time sucker.

hello weekend
via livethemma - ikea
Focus for the weekend
:: Find a frock for an engagement party for tonight (rooftop bar in the Melbourne winter. yikes!)
:: Compile playlist for the above mention - oh the pressure
:: Get to the prints and photos that have been sitting idle for months mounted and framed
:: Devise a menu for next weekends dinner party - no chance during the week, crazy work week ahead
:: Get crafting for the above - Christmas in July
:: Move the dining setting back into the dining room
:: Get rid of old sofa.. some how.
:: Dismantle thrifty mid century chair for DIY re-upholstery attempt
Not liking my chances of completing even 2 or 3 of the above.
Anywhoo, a great weekend to you!

i love you a whole o'clock
Zeee cutest snail mail to ever grace my letter box!
A little shout out to my crafty friend Han. She sets up shop at vintage craft markets to sell her wares, so if you're in the London do check it out her blog for stall updates.
We befriend some odd 6 years ago when she and her equally awesome boyfriend back packed around Oz. JD and I were lucky enough to catch up with them during our trip to NYC last year. Thank you lovely lady - Miss you! Love to you and JB! xx

the weekend..
via design sponge
JD has been sick, so most of the weekend I've been chilling out with my little brother. He kindly updated my neglected ipod. I dragged him op shopping (an extra set of hands to help carry the loot) in exchange for a driving lesson. I wonder how many grey hairs have propped up...
I visited my mama, and for lunch was a delicious duck curry. She let me dig up some succulents from her garden.
I finished up a lazy Sunday over at a friends making Syrian chicken as we hatched plans for a small holiday for her birthday.
