the weekend
via designlovefest
This weekend JD and I went for a drive along the peninsula.
A light lunch, some tea & scones, and after a couple wrong turns (I have terrible navigating skills) one grumpy driver was completely won over by the awesomeness that is the Vintage Shed in Tyabb. Sorry my camera cord is on the fritz so no photos for now.

the weekend
via jose villa
This weekend we went down to the beach and JD gave me a brief lesson on how to surf ski. I must emphasise on brief. I much preferred doing my laps. See how I go next time.
We visited mum for lunch with the family, crispy Vietnamese yellow crepes. Yum.
I need more weekends like these.

Some wardrobe inspiration for Autumn (and much needed inspiration at that). Enjoy the weekend.

home love
Do you recall this lovely home featured Real Living? The home of interior and furniture designer Tim Leveson. Do check out his website. Wow if I were to hire an interior designer, I'd do it off a testimonial like this alone :)

summer's come back
Summer's made a come back in Melbourne, the last couple of days have been glorious. The extra day was truly suburb, catching up with friends for breakie, trips to the beach. Dinner, wine & beer matching through the Melbourne Good Food & Wine festival. (Thanks R - perfect Christmas gift - should do it more often)
I spent some time in the garden, potting plants; english lavender, hydrandras, succulents, and anything else that took my fancy.

get stitching
via aviary studio
I think I'd really get into patchwork quilting.
And why not dive in head first into something simple like this. Easy pease.
